Does it work?
According to The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology
"Plasma skin resurfacing. A new technology utilizes a nonlaser device to generate plasma, a cloud of electrons, from nitrogen atoms, and a spark of radiofrequency. This technology uses pulses of ionized nitrogen gas to deliver energy directly to the skin. The epidermis initially is left intact, only later to shed as healing is completed. Roughly 10 days after treatment, fibroblasts depositing new collagen and elastin fibers can be seen. Side effects are rare and can include temporary hyperpigmentation, erythema, edema, epidermal de-epithelialization, infection, and scarring.
How does it work?
Fibroblast Plasma is a FDA approved innovative technology device that promotes a sublimation process in the 4th state of matter by utilizing plasma to create a tiny plasma flash static arc between the device and the surface of the skin. The tool itself doesn't touch the skin, however, the plasma flash creates a tiny dot on the outer epidermal surface of the skin and leaves a dot known as "carbon crusts". The technique for this procedure requires training to understand the strategic placement of carbon crust dots in order to achieve optimal results. As a result of the plasma effect, the skin naturally rejuvenates (fibroblast cells are known to trigger production of collagen).
